Eddie’s mom was found as a stray in the four corners area in Utah, the local shelter there was unable to care for him and his three litter mates. Because of this, his future was grim. 

Luckily, Nuzzles & Co rescue organization stepped up and took all four of them in. Nuzzles & Co is an animal rescue organization located in Summit County, Utah. They take in dogs, cats and even farm animals, to provide them sanctuary until they can find their forever homes. I was lucky enough to be able to foster Eddie and his three sisters from the age of 5 weeks to 8 weeks old, but as you can probably guess, Eddie never left. 

Eddie is a shy dog with lots of quirks, he is terrified of thunderstorms, LOVES to dress up in just about anything, has befriended every squirrel in our backyard, and takes a while to warm up to strangers. But, once you have found the way to his heart, (usually with treats) he will be your best friend forever.

Eddie is a mama’s boy through and through and his perfect day includes laying in bed with mom doing absolutely nothing (except for eating snacks of course). I call Eddie my ‘heart’ dog and as stereotypical as it sounds, I didn’t just rescue him, he also rescued me.
