I have had my boy on the same kibble since he was a pup (obviously changed from puppy to adult food but same brand). He’s a large breed, very active, but still big. One of his litter mates has a thyroid issue so we wanted to try to get him to lose weight just to be sure he didn’t have issues without having to run tests. I made the decision to switch him all together to this food and after being on it for a few months I’m blown away with the difference. He’s lost 14 lbs. His energy is almost puppy-like again (not that he was sluggish but now he’s extra lol). He sleeps so soundly. It has made a huge difference and I’m sticking to it.

    Excellent ingredients, convenient for travel

    I do like the idea of having this on hand as a nutritional boost to their current diet, though, and because it is so easy to travel with. I hike with my dog often and I like to bring food and snacks for him. Since this food is freeze dried it is light weight and he can carry some along in his pack with his small wet pouches, treats, and first aid kit.
