My Mico is so sweet (4 mos old beagle). My only problem is that when he is inside the house he poops and pees anywhere, so i put him in the garage where he has his own bed and heater {because its cold}. i tried to train him when he was still weeks old but he always forgets.. i dont know what o do with him.

Just take the training really slow. Work at your dog’s pace, start in an environment without distractions, make sure that the rewards you are using are high value, keep training sessions to 5-10 minutes, and stop on a positive note (ex don’t end when your dog is distracted and disinterested, end by having them do a sit or something else successfully) and praise them a lot! It will take time, but time and consistency will be your friend!

I found two 7 months sibling pups on my street with no tags, after some time I kept them. The siblings (female and male) have a strong bond. They are very different in physical build and height and in training. My little one, mixed Jack Russell Terrier doesn’t seem to pick up training, while the other learns more quickly. How do I determine how I should train the little one so he learns?

My dog was doing so well! I watched Zak George on YouTube religiously. Commands, tricks, walking on a leash, fine with other dogs and people, not easily distracted then BOOM, just before he turned a year, he now is easily distracted by squirrels! Pulls on his leash, only comes IF he is on a leash, behaves aggressively towards dogs and people while on his leash. He has recently been a Houdini and has been escaping regularly and ignores me when I call to him. He is now 16 months.and I am not sure if I am still doing the right things?
