Why is Impulse Control Important?
Impulse control is essential because it can keep your pup safe and healthy. If your dog has impulse control, they can stay calm in exciting or stressful situations and even have patience when presented with something they strongly desire.
There are many situations in which this quality is important, but in this course, we will focus on manners around food and the “leave it” cue.
