Intro to Service Dogs

The Intro to Service Dogs course helps introduce you to the role service dogs, emotional support animals, and therapy dogs play in your life. Learn about what makes a service dog, how to know if your dog can and should become one, and teach your dog to perform different tasks. We'll also cover: -Basic training skills service dogs should have (demo) -Fine-tune skills in public areas (demo) -How to have your dog help ground you (demo) -How to get your dog to pay attention to your breathing (demo) Individual response training (or other training you can do) -What steps to take to have your dog become a service dog This course is taught by Amber Aquart, CPDT-KA and Service Dog Academy Graduate.

This course is broken down into easy-to-follow videos (both informational and training activities) to help you understand the basics of service dogs.
