How to Use Freeze-Dried Treats

Using our Freeze-Dried Blueberry Training Treats effectively is key to achieving the best results in training your dog. Follow these simple steps to get the most out of our treats:

1. Start with Basic Commands: Begin with basic commands such as "sit," "stay," and "come." Hold a treat close to your dog's nose to get their attention.

2. Positive Reinforcement: Once your dog performs the desired action, immediately reward them with a treat and positive praise. This helps them associate the command with a positive outcome.

3. Consistency is Key: Use the treats consistently during training sessions. Repetition helps your dog learn and retain new behaviors.

4. Keep Training Sessions Short: Keep training sessions to about 5-10 minutes. Frequent, short sessions are more effective than longer, infrequent ones.

5. Gradual Progression: As your dog masters basic commands, gradually introduce more complex commands and behaviors. Continue to reward with treats to reinforce learning.

Blueberries are too sticky

Beef and chicken are good options. The salmon is good but too stinky. Blueberries are great for dogs but not these. Way too sticky. Melt in your hand and stick to their teeth. They also ruin treat bags. Stick to the beef and chicken!

Another winner!

Our puppy loves these! I use them as training treats and in her Kong with yogurt to freeze for a fun treat.

Blueberries

I was surprised but my pup didn’t like them.

Chewy and hard for my small dog to eat

I'm going to tear these in half for her but my chihuahua cockerspaniel had some trouble eating these. For a small dog, she is actually a pretty tough power chewer. I tried tearing them apart with my hand and they were tough. I would almost say they felt like they had been dried instead of freeze dried.
