We are getting so close to Halloween! Is anyone counting down the days yet? So we wanna know... which GIF better describes your level of commitment to creating a Halloween costume (for you and your pup)?

Since you're here, we're guessing you are one of the first two. Or maybe you're here just for the h*ck of it. Whatever your level of commitment is in regards to Halloween costumes (tbh I'm more of a Jim) we will have some options for you!

1. GRANNY DOG COSTUME

4. A DINOSAUR

So, it's no taco cat (spelled backwards taco cat) but, it's pretty funny anyway. Just imagine your dog in this.

POP CULTURE/TRENDING HALLOWEEN COSTUME IDEAS FOR DOGS 2021

1. BENNIFER

2021 really had a full circle moment when Ben Affleck and JLO got back together. Your dog already has the "fer" (fur) taken care of, stick a photo of Ben Affleck onto a dog headband plus the letter "I"... and see if anyone can guess what your dog is. Or go with a classic, if your dog doesn't mind a little dress up, and stick a pink tracksuit on you or your pup and the other go as Ben.

2. STEVE AND BLUE - BLUES CLUES

The message from Steve in 2021 was a real tear jerker. Want to do a coordinated costume with your dog? Get a pair of khakis and a green striped polo for you, and put some blue spots on your dog and go as this classic duo. Or bonus points if YOU dress up as Blue and your dog goes as Steve. We love a good switcheroo.

3. CONTAINER SHIP STUCK IN SUEZ CANAL

This feels like forever ago, but yes, this did happen in 2021. Have some cardboard boxes at home? Get out your art supplies and create the ship out of the box for your dog to wear.

4. ASAP ROCKY AT THE MET GALA

Have a quilt lying around (or check your local thriftstore) and drape that beauty over your dog.

The entire internet freaked out when the image of Lady Gaga As Patrizia and Adam Driver as Maurizio made its debut. If it's sweater weather where you are, this outfit is perfect. Put a sweater on you and your dog, get some gold chains, large reading glasses, and a faux fur hat.

Stick a crown, like this one, on your dog to have them dress like the infamous Loki.

8. CINDERELLA

2021 brought us another Cinderella, and we didn't even know we needed it. Dress up your dog as Cinderella. It's classic and timely. And how amazing would your dog look in this?

EASY DOG COSTUME IDEAS

So maybe your dog isn't a fan of wearing wigs, clothes, shoes, etc. We get it. Here are some easier options your dog *may* be okay with.

1. A BUTTERFLY

The whole costume includes butterfly wings on a harness for your dog. So if your dog is okay with harnesses, this could be the way to go. You could also make your own butterfly wings and attach it to a harness at home for a DIY version.

2. TY BEANIE BABY

Who didn't own beanie babies as a child? Stick the TY tag on your pup for an easy costume. You can buy one, like this, or make your own out of some felt and cardboard.

3. LION MANE

Any dog can do this, but golden retrievers, goldendoodles, and yellow labs really rock this look. Rawr.

4. DOG BANDANAS

Put any kind of bandana on your pup for a festive halloween look. You can do a jack-o-lantern, ghost, or Toy Story inspired dog bandana.
